Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - Ranking Every Multiplayer Map Worst To Best

7. Aniyah Palace

Modern Warfare
Activision

Aniyah Palace is a map that could only work with Modern Warfare's new mechanics. A larger play area with big outside areas and the centralised palace acting as its own CQC mini-map, it's tailored to all playstyles, and fortunately players make use of all of it, rather than reducing it to a single hallway ala Piccadilly.

The only real issue is its size. The longer-range gameplay helps shake things up, but it can also occasionally result in matches being slower, with the timer ticking down more often than the winning score is hit. Thankfully, objective modes remedy that somewhat, funnelling players into choke points, but the issue of camping can sometimes get in the way of the fun.

Still, that's just a small gripe and for the most part Aniyah Palace is always a blast.
