Call Of Duty: Ranking Every Game Mode From Worst To Best

21. Juggernaut

Call Of Duty Modes
Activision

A mode akin to Juggernaut has been featured in the majority of multiplayer shooters over the last two decades. Timesplitters had Gladiator, Star Wars: Battlefront has Hero Hunt and so on and so forth. Each has one player (who is buffed with higher than normal damage and/or health) earn points by killing others, who in turn attempt to kill said player to earn the position of power for themselves, with the winner being the first to hit a specified quota.

Call Of Duty's take also offered a unique team-based variation, with a handful of players supplementing the Juggernaut's offence and defending them instead of every single player trying to bring him or her down

Given its simple and enjoyable premise and the fact that it remains present in several of the franchise's competitors, it's highly surprising that Juggernaut has never made another appearance following its one and done showing in Modern Warfare 3.

Given that the number of modes has dwindled with each game in recent years, however, it's probably not a candidate to make a return any time soon, despite being a viable alternative to the ever present Free For All for players that don't want to solely play team-based games.
