Call Of Duty: Warzone - 10 Reasons You NEED To Play
8. The Map - Verdansk
One of the first things you’ll notice when booting up Warzone, is the sheer scale of the new BR map, Verdansk. This new map is the largest to ever bless the Call of Duty franchise, and similar to Blackout, provides a blending of maps from the Modern Warfare series.
While size is often not the be-all and end-all of open maps, Verdansk is equally as dense as it is massive, with various buildings and structures to explore, all of which are supposedly filled with unique interiors – so no more repeat buildings.
The map plays host to plenty of points of interest, and along with its varying terrain, manages to take its large space and still make it feel confined.
Compared with many of the other BR maps, Verdansk manages to avoid the monotonous empty spaces, which often leave players running for extended periods of time with nothing of interest going on.
While the upped player count certainly helps, with its versatility, packed locale, and general impressiveness, Verdansk is one of the best BR map offerings we’ve seen to date.
