Call Of Duty: World War 2 - 10 Iconic COD Features That Must Return

9. A Stealth-Based Sniper Mission

Everyone has fond memories of 'All Ghillied Up' from COD4: Modern Warfare and 'Vendetta' from COD: World at War. They were missions of great contrast; from slow movements through enemy territory to tense, heart-in-the-mouth moments when you're almost spotted, to all out action during chase or escape sequences. Both missions offered something different, too: an assassination in the modern age and a classic sniper vs. sniper battle as a WWII set piece.

The newest COD has to have this on the checklist as a must-have feature. Sledgehammer Games have already shown the action and bombast of the Normandy beach landings, and we've seen quieter moments during cut scenes and tank travel. But there's not been any footage of snipers.

The only possible hint is a moment where a probable church tower (with heavy bell) collapses and the camera shows a soldier falling to his death through the rafters. Could this be a sniping partner atop a church tower?
