Call Of Duty: WW2 Review - 7 Ups & 3 Downs
2. It's The Best Call Of Duty In Several Years
All things considered, this is easily the best Call of Duty since at least 2014's Advanced Warfare, which not-so-coincidentally was the last entry developed by Sledgehammer Games.
It's ironic that Sledgehammer's previous game signalled the series' turn towards over-the-top sci-fi action, but now they've come full circle by homaging the series' roots, with a simpler approach to style and gameplay that's ultimately much more satisfying.
If the recent sci-fi-centric entries have pulled you away from the franchise, this honestly might be a good time to dive back in, because this is the most fun the series has been to play since at least 2012's Black Ops II.
