Call Of Duty: WWII - 5 Ways It Will Blow Battlefield Out The Water

It's a well-known fact that gunning down hordes of zombies never gets old, which is no doubt why Call of Duty: WWII is giving us more opportunities than ever to do it.

Blasting the undead has always been a fan-favourite distraction from the core CoD gameplay, but in the next instalment, players will be treated to a standalone co-op mode based entirely around this pastime.

Nazi Zombies mode is set in an alternate universe where the Third Reich has been meddling with living weapons, conducting dark experiments a la Wolfenstein.

While CoD's zombie mini-games are never less than an absolute blast, they're been novelty inclusions with a B-movie feel in the past.

This will be different, telling a substantial narrative with prominent horror themes to add a little something extra that Battlefield 1 simply has no answer to.

It's amazing how little you care about historical accuracy while a zombie's head is exploding before you like a rotten melon.
