Crash Bandicoot 4: 10 Hardest Levels Ranked

2. Rush Hour

Of all of the levels in Crash Bandicoot 4, I died the most times on my first runthrough of Rush Hour.

To start, this is the longest level of the game. And it's not even close, either. To put into perspective just how long this level is, the time required to get the Platinum Relic is 3 minutes and 40.61 seconds. The Platinum Relic time for the next longest level, Nitro Processing, is 2 minutes and 15.69 seconds. That is a *massive* discrepancy.

Now, let's get to the level itself - it sucks.

I mean, it's cool that you get to play as someone other than Crash once in a while, but once you actually play the alternate character levels, you find that you'd rather just be playing as Crash.

The opening Dingodile section is mostly plodding, but also contains a section where you have to dodge floating Nitro crates and drones carring Nitro crates while also sucking up boxes and hopping across cars that fall after like 0.5 seconds of standing on them.

Then the Tawna section comes along, and it's basically just a bunch of rail-grinding sections (which I don't care for in general) with tons of offscreen boxes that can be rather easy to miss. The ending section, though, sees you precision-platforming across even-faster cars, all while trying to hit floating boxes and dodging speeding cars that will run you over without shame.

Oh, and the N-Verted version of the level is underwater. It's the worst, and I never want to play it again.
