2. Tomb Wader

Besides the great reference in the name, Tomb Wader's unique water mechanic makes it one of the most fun levels in Crash 3.

The time travel element really gave Naughty Dog free reign when it came to choosing interesting gimmicks and locations, which Tomb Wader really proved. Whilst the Medieval period and the Jurassic period are both great, Crash Warped shines brightest in these Egyptian levels.

All of the Egyptian scenes feature beautiful graphics, interesting level designs, multiple secrets and great music, but Tomb Wader introduced a great gameplay mechanic too, with rising water. Its presence makes mastering the slide jump and the hover spin essential to getting through, as well as making it tense whenever you come into contact.

The rush between crates as the water rises is one of the most tense bits of platforming in the whole original trilogy, and something that will surely hold up on PS4.
