Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: 15 Most Brutally Hard Levels

7. Totally Bear (Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back)

This hidden level may only be about 90 seconds long, but it's by far the most difficult of the polar bear-riding levels, with low visibility making it harder to see obstacles ahead, and the spacing of enemies and jumps requiring the player to frequently adjust Polar's speed.

With some absolutely gigantic jumps the player is given virtually no time to prepare for and some extremely sneaky placement of leaping whale enemies, this is the very definition of punishing.

If for some God-forsaken reason you want to try it for yourself, Totally Bear can be accessed by playing Un-Bearable, and after the bear-riding section, run back to Polar, who will trigger the portal to the secret level.
