Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: 15 Most Brutally Hard Levels

8. Spaced Out (Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back)

Spaced Out is essentially Piston It Away on steroids, a significant one-upping of that level that simply throws more of everything at the player, in what's the final level before the climactic showdown against Dr. Neo Cortex.

There's simply so much to keep track of here, and the combination of pistons and tentacle-bots is particularly frustrating at times. There are some tricky nitro sections to deal with too, not to mention an utterly infuriating shrink ray sequence that can take many, many attempts.

This level's difficulty only makes the already hilariously easy final boss fight seem even more pathetically simple.
