1. The Native Fortress Shortcut

Another one for commenters to debate out: Was Native Fortress' top level designed to be so excruciatingly hard, simply to force you into taking the above shortcut?

Who knows, but if you're sick of having Uka Uka laugh at your failings, look to the missing spike before one of the wooden columns and leap up. Crash will go 'into' the level, and though you can't see him, you're then able to bypass the majority of the obstacles on this top section.

A small reprieve from a level that might have already driven you insane, but I'm just thankful they didn't remove it.
