2. Secret Level - 'Eggipus Rex'

Another one of the coolest secret levels, to access Eggipus Rex, first you'll need to grab the Yellow Gem in Crash 3. To do so, collect any 10 time trial relics by replaying your levels of choice, then head to the middle of the Time Travel level select zone, where you'll descend into the floor.

Inside here, hop into the Hang 'Em High level and complete it - you'll be rewarded with the Yellow Gem.

Now, go into Dino Might and you'll see a new Yellow Gem platform to ride. Do so and keep playing through the level - once you get to the Triceratops chase, sprint down to the second Pterodactyl and get caught in its clutches, resulting in being whisked away instead.

Hopping aboard a baby dinosaur - the only rideable animal companion not to feature in Crash Team Racing - Eggipus Rex is a side-scrolling secret level where meticulous platforming is the key to survival.
