Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled: 10 Racers Who MUST Be Unlockable In A Grand Prix

With Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled bringing most of the original trilogy’s big guns plus lesser lights from Nitro Kart and Tag Team Racing, it feels very much like a tribute to Crash overall. With Tawna and Baby T on the way, this feels like the case even more.

There are some people who consider the Crash continuity to be the original trilogy, Crash Team Racing, Crash Bash, a lot of meh, then the N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled.

There’s a noticeable drop in quality with the ‘meh’ era, including some strange changes to Crash’s design and the switch from level based gameplay to a more Spyro esque open world.

While it’s true that the post Naughty Dog games don’t hold up as well, there’re still some great characters in there. One of N. Gin’s minions, Rusty Walrus, is one such boss character from Crash Twinsanity.

Rusty chases you as you leap over holes in the ground and Nitro Crates, though his thick blubber make him immune to both. They don’t diminish his speed as he races after you. Notoriously one of Crash’s hardest ever bosses, he’d be a great addition to Nitro Fueled.
