9. Use Green Shields/Missiles/Bowling Balls To Open Crates In Advance

Something of an advanced tip as you'll need to memorise crate placement and know your angle of approach in advance, but you can fire bowling balls and other projectiles past those ahead, to open a crate before they get there.
