Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
6. Coco Bandicoot
With Crash being the face of the franchise, you can see why he’s the most balanced character, even if it doesn’t make sense for his personality. Coco, his level headed sister, might have been a much better choice here, but instead she’s an acceleratrix.
The acceleration category helps her scoot ahead of her brother, but only just. Crash Bandicoot has a hell of a rogues' gallery (especially when you separate out the chaff), and it’s the villains who take each and every place in the top five.
To be honest though, they deserve it. While Crash does get more spotlight, Coco hasn’t wanted for much in recent years either. She’s been heavily involved in later storylines, featured prominently in some promotional material and has had playable levels since the Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.
In the N. Sane Trilogy, they even allowed you to switch between Crash and Coco, apart from a select few levels which were especially designated to either one of them.
A lot of her base personality is built around her dynamic with her brother too, so her little quips can feel a little forced. Still, once you’re used to her she’s a solid pick for most of the game.
