Crysis 3: 5 Reasons Why It Will Inevitably Disappoint

3. Weapons and Gadgets

Crysis 3 Crysis 3 and the new Tomb Raider have some striking similarities. Firstly, they're both about a young lady who has a thrust for adventure; secondly, both will seem to have a heavy focus on a bow and arrow. This has led me to believe that, for some reason, In Crysis 3 you€™re weapons aren€™t going to be active in the whole city or certain parts. Now, people have said that this will add an interesting stealth element that the other two never had, but I think it€™s just because bow and arrows are €˜in€™ at the moment. Also, if you remember, Crysis 2 did have a stealth element that made it painfully easy; so adding more stealth is going to make completing Crysis 3 a light summer stroll in the park. Even so, the gadgets you arm yourself with are completely rubbish. As I said in my €˜10 Most Crushing Gaming Disappointments of All Time€™:
"...while I€™m talking about crap abilities, your armour, sprint and cloak all use the same energy which is bloody senseless. If you cock up a stealth section because you ran out of juice, you€™re not going to be able to flee like a little girl."
So if Crytek carry on this trend of having all your tools using one tank, they've learn absolutely nothing. Having the choice to move through a level stealthily rather than shooting everyone in a five mile radius is great, but nothing sucks more than forced stealth sections in a game.
