Although The Witcher 3 boasted a beautiful, lifelike world, it also had a pretty ugly heads-up display that tried its best to obfuscate every part of it. Of course it didn't ruin the game, but the RPG certainly became that bit more immersive when you turned some of the more superfluous features off, and used the actual gameplay and world itself to get the feedback these meters and numbers provided.

Thankfully, CD Projekt Red seem to have realised that they were probably doing their visuals a disservice by having such a clunky U.I., and with Cyberpunk have attempted to integrate that information realistically in the world itself.

Reports have indicated that the HUD has been kept to a minimum, only showing up properly during combat. Likewise, U.I. features have been diagetically included in the experience, with speedometers for instance being integrated into the futuristic tech V's car is based on.

Again, it's not a make or break feature, but it's still nice to know the developers are using every trick to create their most immersive sandbox yet.
