2. It Might Be Better To Get Creative

If there’s one thing that may leave players feeling a little flat when they get their hands on the game, it’s the combat system. As previously mentioned, Cyberpunk is first and foremost an RPG, no an action title. Though players are free to play the game like a first-person shooter if they choose, Marks has stressed that the combat, while never being bad, is nothing to write home about.

As a way of mitigating the lacklustre combat it’s recommended that players get a little creative with the tools at their disposal, which they have a lot of.

From a variety of unique weapons, cybernetic augmentations, and an in-depth perks system that allows players to tweak their character’s stats to suit their preferred style, there’s no shortage of choices when it comes to dispatching your foes. Moreover, even if you initially invest in body stats early on, you won’t be restricted from using stealth. You’ll even be rewarded for doing so to then invest in those skills later.

The best part of Cyberpunk’s combat looks to be how creative it allows us to get. And we can't wait to see what we can get up to.
