3. Monsters
One of the key features of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls is of course the enemies that you will be facing along your journey. Dark Souls presented some of the strangest, most horrifying monsters in gaming and we can only expect more of the same from it's sequel. In the trailer itself we see human enemies, masked men with various weapons attacking and at one point overwhelming the central character. It is unknown exactly who these adversaries are but they are suitably creepy and menacing, the variety in their weapons reminded me of the common undead enemies from the Undead Burg area of Dark Souls but whether they will be just common enemies or something more important is down to speculation only at this point. One thing is for sure, if Dark Souls 2 carries on in the same vein as its predecessor, with enemies such as the Giant Cats from the Darkroot Garden or the Hydra's from Ash Lake and the Darkroot Basin, everyone will have some new favourite monsters upon it's release date, not to mention...
