1. Grind Infinitely To Gain Levels

This might seem like a "Well, DUH!"-type of tip, but considering Dark Souls 2 introduced the idea of enemies being expendable after they were killed 15 times (therefore meaning you could only level up so much, until you found an item to bring them back), DS3 returns things to their original roots.

If you want to take time out and re-run any number of areas, you can feel free to do so without wondering if enemies are going to disappear on you.

Granted, some larger creatures or 'mini-bosses' like the creature atop the bridge in Irithyll can only be slain once, but the vast majority will let you take time out to grind until you're ready to press on.
