Dark Souls 3: Ranking Every Boss From Worst To Best
2. Sister Friede & Father Ariandel
'Ashes of Ariandel' was a pretty disappointing DLC in whole, with the standout moment being the final boss fight. The fight starts out with you fighting Sister Friede, learning her moves and practising fighting against her.
After you beat her Ariandel joins the fight in what is the best multiple opponent boss since Ornstein and Smough. The two play off each other perfectly with the fight never feeling unfair against you.
However, the best and most exciting moment happens when you defeat them both. When you think the fight is over, suddenly Friede comes back for a third round in the most shocking and panic-inducing moment in the entire game. It's just a great boss fight all together, filled with as much pace as engagement on the part of the player.
Also, Ariandel is Scottish, so bonus points there, obviously.
