Dark Souls: Top 8 Boss Fights
3. Crossbreed Priscilla
There are a number of reasons why I liked this boss fight. Chief of which was the atmosphere, probably making it my favourite fight in terms of atmosphere. First, you need to know about Priscilla and her dungeon area, the Painted World of Ariamis. Not only is it a beautiful area, it's an area Priscilla ran away to to escape discrimination in the real world for being a mutant. Priscilla is the only boss who offers you the option to not fight once you've entered the boss arena. That alone speaks volumes for her character, unlike other bosses. She doesn't just presume you've entered her domain to kill her and allows you to leave her world in peace. She's an optional boss too, so you don't have to face her. You, being the monster you are, decide to fight of course. The fact that Priscilla is white as snow, of course complements the fact that the Painted World of Ariamis is full of snow too. She then turns invisible once the fight starts, making it hard to fight her. She also comes equipped with a scythe that can cause the bleeding effect, which hurts! She's a semi-hard boss, given that the invisibility thing will catch many off guard, plus her attacks do hurt. If you're over-leveled however, things get easier. Special note for her serene boss theme, one of the best. What seeketh thee? - Priscilla
