7. Down: The Camera Will Get You Killed More Than Once

When it comes to the camera in Dark Souls-esque titles, player preference often comes into play. Since everything in D3 requires precision and careful timing, the camera is like a co-op player to you. Just a shame the camera acts like a partner whose controller died, leaving you to move the camera and dodge/attack by yourself.

It gets pretty frustrating and will get you killed on several occasions. Remaining conscientious of this before hopping into a fight can reduce the frequency of this, but it's still difficult to avoid entirely. Once you lock onto enemies, the camera's a bit more forgiving, but with how much you have to move to avoid enemy attacks, free-camera is your best bet.

And it's easy to be annoyed by the fact that a dynamic camera would've easily fixed most of this. Without it, you're too often left to your own devices as you're attacking, dodging, and moving the camera, leading to irritating deaths that don't feel like they were your fault.
