Dead Or Alive 5: 10 Reasons Why It's A Must Buy Game

8. Online Modes

One of the staples of recent fighting games has been the inclusion of online multiplayer modes. Dead Or Alive 5 is no different in this regard. There will be a number of online modes to suit the player's needs. So far, we've heard of: Ranked Match, Tournament, Spectator, Throwdown Challenge and Online Dojo. Ranked is pretty straight forward. The inclusion of Tournaments is a personal high point, especially as it can include up to a maximum of 16 participants. Spectator mode is another simple mode where you view online battles whilst having the ability to chat with other spectators too. The Throwdown Challenge is a special mode where you can challenge anyone connected online (so someone not necessarily in the online section; perhaps playing story mode). This results in a straight up match when/if accepted. Finally we have the Online Dojo, where you can practice training online with a friend. This mode will be touched on further in this feature.
