1.No Split-Screen Co-op
When it was announced that co-op was going to be a part of Dead Space 3, I at least took solace in the fact that it would mean I could play it when I'm round a buddy's house. However, Dead Space 3
does not follow the same trend as other similar games like Resident Evil 6, in that it doesn't include an offline, local co-op mode, either by way of split-screen or system link. So, EA have essentially introduced co-op, but then not bothered to do it in a way that seems remotely competent; how have they ignored one of the basic facets of implementing a mode like this? It might not be the biggest problem with the game, but it's definitely the most glaring oversight, whereas the others are more deliberate, crass calculations.
