The most efficient way to get over a small crevice, body of water or rock canyon in DS is to lay down a ladder and walk over it, but that can cause a problem when you're on a bike.

Fortunately for you, a good chunk of the horizontal ladders can be driven over if you're careful enough on a vehicle. This works well in water especially, and can save battery life.

However, it isn't exactly a hard-and-fast rule, so don't get too risky with it. If you have precious cargo that can't be bumped, don't try biking over a tiny ladder covering a big drop.

It ain't worth it. Trust me.
