11. The Metal Gear Solid 4-Inspired Higgs Boss Fight

Late in the game you'll finally face off against Higgs, and it's fair to say that the boss fight is heavily inspired by Kojima's Metal Gear Solid franchise.

For starters, you spend the opening phase of the battle trying to sneak up on Higgs, tie him up with your strand and then kick the snot out of him, which isn't a million miles away from numerous Metal Gear Solid-type boss encounters.

But the influence becomes more obvious once you both drop the gadgets and get down to the fisticuffs.

The subsequent punch-up, with its close camera and energy bars, is clearly a callback to Metal Gear Solid 4's epic final boss fight between Old Snake and Liquid Ocelot, albeit nowhere near as good.
