7. The Dogtags & Their Equations

This one came from Reddit and Kotaku combined, as you have to zoom right into the dogtags on the high-res poster released alongside the teaser trailer. Doing so reveals two formulae: the The Schwarzschild radius, and the The Dirac Equation.

The former relates to the study of black holes, and the second predicted the existence of anti-matter. If Reedus 'is' mankind, both metaphorically and symbolically, this image of him carrying some of the most advanced schools of thought around his neck directly implies our knowledge of the cosmos being a major part of how we've even progressed at all.

Fans have theorised it hints as to who or what Reedus will be in the full game (a scientist of some sort, perhaps?), but I'm simply going with the idea that in this teaser alone, his character represents all human life at a turning point in our existence, rather like that of what can happen inside a black hole.
