Destiny: 10 Worst Players Who Are Ruining The Game
8. Players Who Actually Care About Their Kill/Death Ratio
One of the most irritating things in both Destiny and the FPS genre as a whole is players who care too much about their kill-death ratio. Yes, it's nice to have a big number in that box, but it's really not that important when it impacts how you might be playing the game. Everyone's been playing a team-based Crucible game and become incensed at how the rest of their team just isn't ferocious enough, instead taking the cautious approach to protect their precious KDR. It's infuriating, because winning is all that should matter. Who honestly cares about the KDR if it's going to take you months to level up your Crucible Reputation because you never win any matches? KDR should be a stat you occasionally look at rather than something you obsess over, but if the community at large is any indication, players are as obsessed with it in this game as they are in, say, Call of Duty and Battlefield. There are much more important stats to be bothered about, and when fawning over a single number hampers the experience of other players, it's gone too far. Get in the fight and stop crunching the numbers, Guardian!
