Destiny: 10 Worst Players Who Are Ruining The Game
7. Idlers
Idlers can be one of the more annoying types of player in just about any online game, and in Destiny, they're especially bad. If you're farming a loot cave and there's a player standing around doing nothing, simply waiting to collect all that lovely loot, it's vaguely irritating, but if you're in the middle of a difficult Strike and a player suddenly turns to stone, it can be controller-throwingly maddening. Sure, everyone has their own lives to deal with, and a major drawback of games like this is the absolute inability to pause the action, as sometimes life just suddenly surprises you, but still, an idle player at their worst can mean the difference between life and death (in-game, of course), between reaping huge rewards and...not. The point is this: if you're going to be idle for more than two minutes (the time it takes for even the slowest person to go pee), just quit the fireteam and leave them to it. Granted, the game has an idle kick feature of around five minutes, but even so, those five minutes can be crucial. One hilarious way to combat idlers is to use a force power like Solar Wind to shove them off the nearest cliff.
