Destiny: 11 Reasons It Doesn't Live Up To The Hype

1. DLC Probably Won't Be The Solution

Destiny10 So, is Destiny value for money? Even though the campaign is massively disappointing, it'll take most players upwards of 25 hours to hit the hard level cap of 30, which for the £45 asking price is probably enough for most gamers to keep hold of the game rather than sell it on. Still, with two DLC packs already announced for the game, we have to ask: is this really what we want? The game's problems mostly appear to be inherent in the way it has been structured by Bungie, and as such it's unlikely that these packs, which are likely already far into development, will be able to change any of the significant issues players have raised about the game so far. From DLC, we're going to expect more of the same but with new skins: a new planet should bring us some new enemies, though we won't expect a more fleshed-out story or missions which don't just recycle the same stretch of land over and over. Raising the level cap in each DLC would be nice, though we'll have to wait and see. What do you think of Destiny so far? Is it living up to your expectations? Let us know in the comments!
