8. Hidden Code In Map Screen

Reddit user Arukemos took notice of three small series of numbers and letters on the Destiny map screen, which he recognised as HEX code. After translating the bottom string into ASCII code, the user figured out that it read "alright ok", which another user discovered was a reference to alrightok.com, the website of a user interface designer. The top string reads "mackay", which nobody could figure out the meaning of, and the one on the left of the map screen reads "Be Dave", which turned out to be a reference to David Candland, the lead UI designer for the Bungie Halo games and Destiny, who noted on Twitter that Reddit had found his devilishly well-hidden easter egg. Granted, you'd need to be pretty crazy to even attempt figuring this thing out, but bravo to the super smart sparks who did!
