7. Firefly Cast Cameos

Bungie are clearly big fans of Joss Whedon's tragicaly doomed sci-fi series Firefly, because they cast the show's star, Nathan Fillion, in Halo 3 (as Gunnery Sergeant Reynolds, no less), and as Gunnery Sergeant Buck in Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. Well, Fillion appears once again in Destiny, this time as Cayde-6, the Hunter Vanguard in the Tower who sells Hunter armour and emblems. As if that wasn't enough, Bungie also managed to rope in another Firefly alumnus by way of Gina Torres, who of course played tough femme fatale Zoe Washburne on the show. In Destiny, she plays Ikora Rey, the Warlock Vanguard who players can buy Warlock armour from. Keen-eared players might've already caught these two cameos, though given the brevity of the performances, they're easy enough to miss.
