12. Pokeball Design

Reddit user xtrox noted last week that on the Mars-based multiplayer map Blind Watch, some of the interior doors appeared to suspiciously resemble the Pokeball colour scheme and design. While substituting the original red for orange, the design (namely the bridging in the middle and the circular divider) is almost identical. Another user also spotted the design appearing again when players pick up a piece of Ascendant Energy, which while instead glowing a solid orange, still contains the same structural design. Some might dismiss this as a mere coincidence given that it's entirely plausible two designers could separately come up with it, but given how iconic and popular Pokemon is, isn't it much more likely that it's either subconsciously lifted from it, or a direct (not to mention blatant) nod to the mammoth franchise?
