Destiny 2: 9 Leaked Details & Speculations You Need To Know
1. It's Coming To PC
The long standing rumors have finally been answered, and Destiny 2 will in fact be coming to PC along with its release on Xbox One and PS4. It was the perfect time for Bungie to finally bring the game over to the PC, given that Destiny 2 is going to be a completely fresh start for everyone.
For the longest time, fans wanted to see a port of the first game hit the PC. It looks like that will never happen but instead they'll be able to jump in at the game's sequel. Destiny is one of those games that's going to feel right at home on a PC, and it's been confirmed that it will be on par with all console releases. No version will get more attention than another in terms of support, with the exception of PlayStation users getting timed exclusives.
Destiny's expansion onto PC will open this game up to an immense amount of players as well. There's no word yet as to if there will be cross-platform play, but with PlayStation having certain exclusive content and PvP more than certainly being a mess if it's done, signs are pointing to no.
If you plan on buying Destiny 2, be prepared to free some space on your hard drive as well, as Bungie's website is saying you'll need a minimum of 68 GB of free space available at launch. It's worth noting that this is larger than the first game, even with all included DLC.
It's been a long time coming, but PC players will finally be able to jump into the world of Destiny come Fall.
