In Dota 2, most heroes run when they're surrounded and taking damage. Axe laughs at those heroes. The big red machine is the very definition of tank, gladly jumping into team fights. For Axe, the more things that are attacking him, the better. Why is this? Counter Helix. Everything about Counter Helix is awesome, from its signature sound to its attack animation. Counter Helix allows Axe to be extremely aggressive during laning phase, often disrupting enemy farm. It is this skill that makes Axe an absolute nightmare early to mid game, often ending in multiple Culling Blade finishers. Axe's other skills are geared toward more Counter Helix, with Berserker's Call taunting enemy heroes into attacking Axe and Battle Hunger, which forces heroes with the debuff to engage in combat if they want to get rid of its effects. In addition to his amazing skill set, Axe provides some of the most memorable dialogue in the game, with lines like "there is no team in Axe" and "big words cannot keep you safe from Axe" to quote a couple examples.
