Dota 2: 10 Heroes That Need A Rework

5. Nevermore The Shadow Fiend

Shadow Fiend is on this list because despite his incredible farming ability and considerable damage, he is very susceptible to damage, in the same vein as the aforementioned Skywrath Mage. Out of Nevermore€™s 4 abilities, the one that is the least significant in the grand schemes is his second passive, €˜Presence of the Dark Lord€™, which reduces the armor of nearby enemies, with a maximum of a 6-point reduction. While this is a useful passive to have, it is not really needed, since Shadow Fiend already has the skills needed to naturally boost his damage. Instead, Shadow Fiend needs a different ability, whether active or passive, that increases his bulk or survivability. For example, instead of decreasing the armor of his enemies, it should instead boost his. Or maybe, he should receive an active spell that allows him to regenerate lost HP when attacking creeps. Even better still, instead of the passive armor reduction, he should have a skill that works with his soul collecting abilities, such as a temporary armor and regen boost after using Shadowraze. Either way, his second passive isn€™t really that important, especially since it can be obtained through the €˜Desolator€™ item.
