Dragon Age 4: 11 Things We Learned From The Behind The Scenes Gamescom Feature
2. The New Lineup
The lineup prominently featured in the video's thumbnail has gotten fans buzzing about the possible new companions in-game. Though these characters may not look exactly the same in the actual finished product, there are a few figures that seem to be recurring throughout the different pieces, and all of them are worth discussing in some way.
One of the figures seems to be that of the Ghost Rider-esque Necromancer from another artwork, and a tall Qunari or Vashoth woman also has people excited - as apart from the Inquisitor, the only Qunari companions that aren't NPCs have been men. Another has been described as "basically Ezio from Assassin's Creed" but whose outfit implies a connection with the Antivan Crows. One of them is wearing an outfit similar to the Inquisitor's "Armour of the Dragon" In Inquisition.
And lest we forget - one of them has a gun. An actual gun. Imagine strolling into Thedas, a land where magic has the most potential for destructive combat, and just whipping out a gigantic blunderbuss and shooting your enemy in the face. Now that BioWare has teased it, they need to deliver.
