Dragon Age 4: 11 Things We Learned From The Behind The Scenes Gamescom Feature
8. Bellara And Davrin
One of the big features presenting how far along the team is in pre-production is that of BIPOC voice actors Jee Young Han as Bellara and Ike Amadi as Davrin.
There's not much known about these characters, though their voice lines imply enough - more so for Davrin.
Bellara talks about "the good kind of rumble" which may mean she's a dwarf character, or in the very least someone who's used to being around either the Deep Roads and tunnels, or a very, very large creature (such as, say... a dragon?). Her name, however, seems more Elven or Human than dwarven. Maybe that's not even the name they're going with, so who knows?
Davrin, on the other hand, has a much more straightforward, suitably dramatic line - "For the Wardens!" His noble sounding tones seems to be in line with many of the Grey Warden characters fans have run into over the years.
Whether he's a companion or NPC, or even the intriguing Warden character who was presented in some very early gameplay footage to have a similar skillset as Blackwall in Inquisition, it's still exciting to get confirmation about their more heroic return to the franchise.
