Dragon Age 4: 7 Things To Expect
6. A Complex World State
Dragon Age has always given us near-complete control over the world we play in, right from the get-go in Origins' prologue, and every choice we've made since over potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay has helped shape the world of Thedas and its future.
BioWare fairly notoriously shot themselves in the foot with the Mass Effect trilogy's vast series of choices when trying to give the trilogy a satisfying end, and instead fans were outraged that they'd been forced to settle for a simple choice of three generic endings.
While the developers went a long way towards regaining the trust of their player base with 2014's Dragon Age: Inquisition, there's still a lingering question: how will all our choices fit in to Dragon Age 4?
With further implementation of the Dragon Age Keep, into which you input your choices in order for the game to create a custom world state, hopefully Dragon Age 4 can execute a sympathetic and not overly convoluted world for Dragon Age 4 to take place in.
