Dragon Age 4: 7 Things To Expect
5. Returning Characters
From the glimpses we've now had at Dragon Age 4's concept art and voice actors, it seems that a number of fans' assumptions have been confirmed.
BioWare have always enjoyed throwing in references to previous installments in their franchises, and Dragon Age in particular takes great care in the way it treats the characters from previous games, with most central or secondary characters making at least two appearances over the three existing titles, and Dragon Age 4 seems to be keen to continue that trend.
Concept art reveals two familiar characters, Isabela and Dorian - companions from Dragon Age II and Inquisition, respectively - sharing in the exploration of an underwater scene, as well as the return of Solas, with voice actor Gareth David-Lloyd reprising his voice role, a character who will undoubtedly be at the heart of the game's story.
This will depend on the choices you've made over the first three games, as the fate of characters such as Alistair or Hawke are in the hands of the player, but at least we know to expect at least a handful of familiar faces.
