Dragon Age 4: 7 Things To Expect

2. Even More World Changing Decisions

With the prospect of fighting the powers that be, it seems as though BioWare intend not only to retain the franchise's nature of player-based choice, but to double down on it.

While much of what is said on the matter is vague, it's clear that the team behind the game are excited about how much control players will be given over the game world. When you consider how much free reign we've already been given in the series, that should tell you something about the scope of what's to come.

The ability to bend the game world around our character's will or desires is something that has cemented Dragon Age as one of the most versatile RPGs of all time, and BioWare are clearly taking that very seriously when considering the newest title in the franchise.

If we truly can make decisions that end or save the lives of our companions, it seems that Dragon Age 4 will be a game that not only makes player choices the centre of the narrative, but one that makes us weigh our every moment and dialogue choice carefully against everything we know about the series.
