3. You'll Be Able To Play Solo

While it's set in stone that Dragon Age 4 is going to include multiplayer and live-service elements (something every major EA release will need to incorporate from now on), Bioware are apparently ensuring that you can play the base story of the sequel on your own, just as you would in any other game in the series.

Speaking about the game's structure, Schreier wrote:

"One person close to the game told me this week that Morrison’s critical path, or main story, would be designed for single-player and that goal of the multiplayer elements would be to keep people engaged so that they would actually stick with post-launch content."

That'll no doubt be a relief to many players, and could indicate that the game's live-service elements won't be as obtrusive as previously thought.
