Dragon Age Inquisition: 10 Reasons It's Saved The Franchise

4. Varied Environments

Something every RPG needs is a world the player actually wants to explore. Dragon Age II failed spectacularly in that aspect, offering up a bland city filled with copy-paste dungeons and dull underground sections. Inquisition features one of the most varied, interesting worlds in recent memory. Each massive area is totally distinct from the last, filled with fascinating characters and stories that immerse you fully into the world. It goes a long way towards keeping the game fresh, and puts in the mindset of constantly wanting to explore around just one more corner, or having a 'quick look' down that misty cave entrance. It's one of the best gaming worlds ever created, and every RPG fan owes it to themselves to check it out.
