Dragon Ball Fighterz: 8 Most Technical Characters You Must Master

Yamcha, much like Tien, has devolved into a bit of a useless character as Dragon Ball has progressed. Originally he was one of Goku's most important allies and one of the strongest humans on Earth, but somewhere around the start of Dragon Ball Z (specifically that time he got blown up by a small green alien) he became a joke.

In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Yamcha is a bit less of a disappointment than usual. He is the closest the game has to a "rekka" style character, which refers to a character that has a special attack that can be followed with two further inputs, thus extending the combo.

Yamcha's Wolf Fang Fist is his primary rekka, allowing him to follow up with two further attacks. Not only can you cancel into a vanishing attack or a super, but you can also press the ki button in either direction to either back off the opponent or cross up behind them, opening them up for a combo.

Much like Hit, Yamcha is fairly useless when it comes to aerial combat. He makes up for this with his wide variety of cross-ups and mix-ups, allowing you to keep the opponent constantly wary of their defence.
