Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 4: 8 Characters Fans Demand

5. Hercule

Dragon Ball FighterZ Raditz

Probably the most divisive pick on this list, Hercule - or Mr Satan as he's better known in Japan - would likely anger as many people as he would please. Weak, outlandish, but simultaneously sure of his victory, Hercule is Dragon Ball's equivalent of marmite - loved and hated in equal measure.

But his canonical weakness hasn't stopped him from appearing in several Dragon Ball games, with titles like Dragon Ball Z: Budokai and Super Battle finding creative ways around his limitations - like giving him a jet pack to fly, or letting him use dynamite as ki blasts.

Although Hercule is obviously the weakest of the main characters in Dragon Ball - someone who would easily be defeated by the likes of Chi-Chi or even Jaco - you can't deny that he's actually pretty important to the story of DBZ.

Besides, Dragon Ball FighterZ is missing a definitive joke character. Some might consider it a waste of a slot, but all top-tier fighting games have joke characters. It's a right of passage to be considered one of the best. Street Fighter has Dan, Marvel vs Capcom has Roll, and now it's time for Dragon Ball FighterZ to have Hercule.
