Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 4: 8 Characters Fans Demand

Unfortunately for fans of Super Buu, a lot of the character's moves were recycled into Kid Buu's moveset. You could argue that based on that, ArcSys never intended to include Super Buu or any of his other variants in the game.

Regardless, the villain has a lot of hardcore fans who insist on his inclusion. Although Kid Buu is his strongest form, many consider Super Buu to look way more threatening and often consider his demeanor to be much more sadistic.

ArcSys are the masters of creating movesets for characters that didn't have much screentime in the anime, so it's no stretch to assume they could do the same for Super Buu given that they've loaned his moves to another character. A lot of people wouldn't even be phased if Kid Buu and Super Buu shared very similar normals and specials anyway, considering there are already 6 versions of Goku in the game.

There are also a lot of people that would prefer Buuhan over Super Buu but, much like with Videl, ArcSys could appeal to everyone by making Buuhan an alternative costume for him considering how similar they both look.
