It's a clear separation from the world of 3, with snow-capped mountains and environments that feel truly alive yet retain the same sense of discovery the series is known for. Far Cry 4 asks you to leave behind all of your preconceived notions about open-world shooters, as the ability to travel literally anywhere on the expansive map is an amazing achievement thanks to a combination of a grappling hook, a huge variety of vehicles - and FC3's returning wingsuit. The demo showed at E3 was brilliant in its pacing, as it showed you everything you needed to know, with its centerpiece being one of the famous liberation sequences that fans of the series have come to enjoy. The abilities available to you have been expanded, with the aforementioned grappling hook used for traversing cliff-sides as well as giving you brutal new ways to dispatch your enemies. The Far Cry experience is one that's constantly evolving, which you see coming into play during the demo, making it a must-have for this fall.
