E3 2015: 12 Biggest Moments From Microsoft's Xbox Conference

6. Keiji Inafune's Recore

With a sparse, very Star Wars-style score backing it, this all-new franchise driven by former Nintendo-man Keiji Inafune landed on Xbox. Titled Recore, all those watching got treated to was a CG-looking trailer (although being such an animated style, it could've been in-game) depicting a desert-like environment, a young girl adventurer and her trusty robot companion. Think Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, but with a more rounded Nintendo-like graphical quality and you're almost there. Combat seemed to focus on various power orbs that could be taken out of the machines of the world and swapped around, as well as collected by our heroine after a tough fight. Keep your eyes peeled for some gameplay footage of this one, as 2015 also looks to be the year 3D platformers make a much-needed comeback.
