7. The Focus Will Be On Exploration And Dungeons
You could argue that the focus of Zelda game is ALWAYS the adventure itself, rather than the plot. If that is the case, and you're still a big fan of that ideology, then you will be pleased to learn that LOZ for Wii-U will be no different.
From the footage already shown, it's clear that scale and exploration were the key buzz words for the developers. There will certainly be concerns that a scarce story would only hurt the overall product, but as long as the exploration and dungeons have plenty of depth, then there's nothing to fear.

With LOZ producer Eiji Aonuma stating that the game has a heavy 'western influence,' it would appear that this installment will be similar in structure to Skyrim where the open-world is the main focus rather than the main narrative.
